Tour program goes as under:

01: Arrival Trivandrum & drive to Ponmudi (55 km / approx 1.5 hrs drive)

We welcome you at upon arrival on Trivandrum Airport. Later transfer to Ponmudi (Decent accommodation available only at Ponmudi from you can visit both Neyyar Wildlife and Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary).

Upon arrival at Ponmudi check in at your prefer hotel. Afternoon visit Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary – Southern tropical hill forests situated in the southeast corner of the Western Ghats is spread over the southeast corner of the Western Ghats, and covers a total area of 128 km. The Neyyar sanctuary is the drainage basin of the Neyyar River and its tributaries – Mullayar and Kallar. Here you have opportunity to see Tiger , Leopard, sloth bear, Elephant, Sambar, barking deer, bonnet macaque, Nilgiri Langur, Nilgiri tahr etc. Also here you can find 176 species of birds and 30 species of reptiles etc.

Return to hotel for overnight stay.

02: Ponmudi – Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast at hotel we will ready to full day excursion of Peppara wildlife sanctuary.

The sanctuary has a rich population of mammalian fauna and is emerging as a big attraction to wildlife enthusiasts and ornithologists. 43 species of mammals, 233 species of birds, 46 species of reptiles, 13 species of amphibians and 27 species of fishes are reported from the sanctuary. The common mammals found are Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Elephant, Sambar (deer), Bonnet Macaque, Nilgiri Langur, Nilgiri Tahr etc.

Evening back to Ponmudi hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

03: Ponmudi – Alleppey (5 hrs drive)

After breakfast at hotel drive to Alleppey boat jetty to board the Houseboat. Rest of the day cruise on the backwaters. Dinner and overnight in the boat.

04: Houseboat – Periyar (Thekkady)

Morning at 0900 hrs check-out from the Houseboat at Kumarakom and transfer to Periyar (3.30 hrs).Upon arrival Periyar check in at hotel. Afternoon visit of spice plantation – This trip not revives your mind only but also keeps your body active. You feel that you are in Green Paradise. Many spices are nurtured in Kerala and some of these spices such as pepper, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg are also in priority and demand.

Our expert will display the nature’s bounty the aromatic gardens. You can go for nature walks, bird watching treks, taste the various spices and breathe in the fragrant air while exploring the spice plantation.

05: In Periyar (Periyar wildlife Sanctuary)

Morning boat cruise on the lake Periyar to watch the wildlife. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in Thekkady, Kerala. It is reserve sanctuary for elephant and tiger. The protected area covers an area of 925 km2 (357 sq mi). 350 kms (140 sq mi) of the core zone was declared as the Periyar National Park in 1982. It is located high in the Cardamom Hills and Pandalam Hills of the southern Western Ghats along the border with Tamil Nadu.

Afternoon guided jungle walk. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

06: Periyar – Munnar (3.30 hrs)

Morning leave for Munnar, on arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit of Eravikulam National Park. Rest day free for relax or enjoy optional activity. Overnight stay at hotel.

07: Munnar – Mannarkad (Silent Valley) – 8 hrs

After breakfast at hotel, complete checkout process and leave Munnar for Silent Valley. Upon arrival Mannarkad check in at hotel. Mannarkad is closer to Silent Valley.

08: In Silent Valley

After breakfast visit Silent Valley a tropical rain forests in all its pristine glory have almost unbroken ecological history. This Valley is closed from all areas with high and continuous ridges and steep escarpments so the valley is shielded from the extremes of climate as well as anthropogenic interventions and so it remained an ecological island.

09: Silent Valley – Wayanad (5.30 hrs drive)

Morning transfers to Sultan Bathery/Wayanad, on arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free for relax. Overnight stay at hotel.

10: In Wayanad

Morning after breakfast visit of Muthanga Wildlife sanctuary. Later visit Edakkal caves – is formed through a heavy boulder across a gap in the rock. You can find two levels inside the cave. Opposite the entrance leads upward to a small hole in the roof through which one climbs up to the next storey.

Back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

11: Wayanad – Calicut (Kozhikode) Departure

Morning in time transfer to Calicut Airport for connect to flight for onward destination.
